Nantipa is a boutique beachfront resort in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica; a hidden gem that offers that rare Costa Rica beach escape. Nestled along the pristine shores of the Pacific Ocean, this little resort features bungalows and suites, each designed with a modern, clean touch.
The resort’s location on the Nicoya Peninsula provides guests with direct access to the Santa Teresa’s nice beach real estate, great for swimming, surfing or long walks.
Nantipa’s rooms are divided into three categories of garden bungalows, beachfront bungalows, and a couple large beachfront bungalows. Each room’s modern design is inspired by the local culture and materials, with high thatched roofs, natural wood accents, and sliding glass doors that open onto private terraces. Guests can relax in the resort’s large pool area, or spread out on the beach with sun loungers that are close to the main restaurant or choose a more secluded lounger a little down the beach.
Nantipa offers a range of activities, including surfing lessons, yoga classes (not free), horseback riding, and guided nature hikes through the nearby Cabo Blanco Natural Reserve.
The resort’s on-site restaurant, Manzú, is based on the flavors of Costa Rica and the Pacific Rim. Enjoy their meals in the open-air dining room or right in the sand in front of the restaurant.
Nantipa is located approximately 6 hours from Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José and 4.5 hours from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Liberia.
