This is a tiny city hotel, not a countryside resort: nine rooms, no pool, spa or gym. The top-floor Penthouse Suite has its own terrace Jacuzzi. The historic layout is not ideal for guests with limited mobility. The hotel is adults-only, and pets are not accepted. Coro is a destination restaurant and advance reservations are strongly recommended. Parking is off-site/paid near the historic center, with staff able to assist. The Duomo (Cathedral) is essentially around the corner.

Coro is the headline: a fine-dining restaurant inside a restored deconsecrated church, with bare stone arches, candlelight and a restrained contemporary interior. Chef Ronald Bukri’s cooking is rooted in Umbrian and Italian ingredients but shaped by an international résumé that includes Sketch in London; tasting menus and à la carte options have both been offered. Gocce is the more relaxed counterpoint — cocktail bar, aperitivo spot and bistrot, with signature drinks and light lunches spilling into the courtyard in warmer weather.
