Expect a 5-7 minute steep trek up a grassy path from parking (potentially slick when wet). Pack light or pack muscle. Bathroom facilities live in a separate barn (10-second sprint under stars). No kitchen, but there's a cutting board and sterno stove in the barn for culinary adventures.
Pro tip: Most folks don't need a cooler – Mother Nature handles refrigeration quite nicely here. And despite its name, Birdbox "Fauske" is near Førde, not Fauske (crucial GPS intel).

Welcome to the world's most scenic picnic spot. While there's no kitchen in your glass nest, the nearby barn offers minimalist meal prep essentials: cutting board, knife, and a sterno stove for hot beverage emergencies. Førde's grocery stores (18 minutes by car) stock everything you need for a mountaintop feast. Pro tip: Beer's available at grocery stores, but for wine and spirits, seek out Vinmonopolet. Local restaurants exist 18 minutes away in Førde, but trust us – you'll want to dine in with these views.
