Stuff You Should Know

This place should be perfect—but isn’t. The pool shuts down before sunset (yes, really), the beach setup feels like an afterthought, and restaurant reservations can be surprisingly tricky. But you’ll forget all that once you’re floating in your villa’s plunge pool, staring out at those surreal karsts. The whole resort leans hard into wellness and sustainability, with a behind-the-scenes farm and recycling center tour that’s actually worth your time. Just don’t expect nightlife or walkable cafés—this is full retreat mode.

Food and drink

Food + Drink On-site surprises

Clifftop dining with serious views, legit Thai food, and the yawn-worthy Living Room venue

You’ve got three restaurants to choose from: a hilltop Western with wild views, a wonderful Thai spot, plus the Living Room that tries to be all things to all people or choose the hilltop Chef’s Table experience if money is an afterthought. Expect lots of organic produce from the resort’s farm and a kitchen team that takes local sourcing seriously. Breakfast is a highlight—think tropical fruit, green juices, and Thai specialties, all served with that cinematic bay backdrop. Bonus: free all-day ice cream and a juice bar tucked into the Living Room lounge.
