Stuff You Should Know

The resort is barefoot luxury at its most relaxed—no TVs, minimal A/C, and plenty of charm. Don’t expect perfection: food is hit or miss, pillows are sub-par, and service, while warm, isn’t always polished. But if you’re after a digital detox with beach views and zero pretense, this is your spot. Ferries to Yao Noi are straightforward, and the hotel will arrange transfers. Book the beachfront villas over the hilltop tents if you don’t want to call a buggy every time you get hungry.

Food and drink

Food + Drink On-site surprises

Local Thai flavors, big views, mixed execution

The open-air restaurant serves all meals, with a focus on Thai classics and a few Western options. The food can be hit or miss: breakfast shines thanks to tropical fruit (especially mango), while dinner fell flat during our visit. Expect friendly service but don’t come here expecting a foodie experience. No room service, but you’ll have beach or jungle views at nearly every table. Dietary restrictions are accommodated with advance notice, and the vibe is barefoot casual—grab a drink at the bar and walk the beach while you wait.
