Stuff You Should Know

The minibars here double as monkey social clubs – consider yourself warned. While the main restaurant's lighting suggests a previous life as a medical facility, the beachside BBQ more than compensates. The property's 38 rooms cascade down a hill that'll keep your step count competitive. Two pools exist, though they're more supporting actors than headliners in this beach-centric show. The wildlife here doesn't respect personal space – and that's precisely the point.

Food and drink

Food + Drink On-site surprises

From clinical lighting to candlelit sand, a tale of two dining scenes

The culinary experience here is a study in contrasts. Up top, the main restaurant battles its unfortunate lighting scheme to deliver solid fare. The decor and food both nice, they just need warmer/dimmer lighting. Down below, the beach restaurant orchestrates a more compelling show, especially during BBQ nights when waves provide percussion and stars handle the mood lighting. The lobby bar bridges the gap, while beach service ensures your lounger needn't feel lonely.
