- We loved: The hotel's modern/minimalist design, interspersed with features (such as the generous windows in the bedroom) that remind you this is an old building; the friendly and genuine service in the restaurant and throughout the hotel; the stone soaking tub that made a baignoire fan out of us; the NUXE spa in the basement with an extensive treatment menu (early booking recommended).

Let’s tour the Hotel de Nell, a 66-room boutique hotel in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. This place might convince you that a hotel doesn’t have to be expensive to be really good. We loved the vibrant neighborhood, the hotel’s understated elegance, and the Japanese/French-style bathroom. You’ll find the Louvre a mile South, the Marais neighborhood less than a mile east and the Paris Opera within a mile west. Its location offers the best of both worlds: a quiet street within a 2-minute walk of cafes and restaurants popular with locals.
