Stuff You Should Know

The canvas walls turn every neighbor's whisper into an audiobook - consider it complimentary entertainment. Usually this is not an issue, but sometimes other guests are inconsiderate. The beach may be private but it's small, no long beach walks here. Empty mini-fridges suggest a stance against midnight snacking, while the missing TV assumes you're here for the live entertainment (see: thin walls). Taxis to Tulum's restaurant scene cost less than therapy but take longer.

Food and drink

Food + Drink On-site surprises

One restaurant, zero competition, infinite ocean views

The beachfront restaurant plays hard to get with its remote location, but delivers once you've made the commitment. Room service brings the culinary comfort when you're too zen to venture out. Being 15-20 minutes from Tulum's gastro hub is either a blessing or a curse, depending on your stance toward taxi meditation. Think of it as a culinary monastery with better lighting and fewer vows of silence.
