The treehouses are especially atmospheric but not ideal if you need larger spaces. Transfers to nearby beaches & towns are easy, but many guests simply settle into the lake, gardens & quiet rhythm here.

Kurulu Bay has one restaurant that handles all three meals, serving a mix of Sri Lankan classics & Western dishes—fresh seafood, local curries & lighter bowls for mellow days by the lake. The open-air dining room, next to the main pool, frames the water, & the bar transitions from relaxed daytime drinks to moody, candlelit evenings. The menu is simple, but the ingredients are fresh, the flavors balanced & the setting hard to beat. No room service, but the restaurant is an easy stroll from your room.
